When I click on a button it doesn't open in the layout. Instead it opens up in a new tab.

Make sure you check your inlineframe tags. There shouldn't be any space like this:

 <area shape="rect" coords="138,719,169,804" href="http://blahblah.com" target="inlineframe" />

If that doesn't work then close it at the end like this:

target="inlineframe"/>

Where do I put all the codes in?

It should be within <style> <style type = "text/css"> or before </style>
